Our Summer Camp Story
Summer Bash is a non-denominational Christian summer camp in Statesboro, Georgia. Summer 2026 will be our 7th camp — five days at 7th Mile Farm filled with nightly worship, morning workshops, recreational games, rock climbing, and evangelism. The schedule is full, the worship is loud, and every year we watch students leave forever marked by God.
The dream started in June 2011, the night Jonathan and Ashley House first met. Jonathan had just passed his licensing exams to become a financial advisor and laid out his plan over that first conversation: use that career to one day fund a summer camp for youth. Ashley's jaw dropped — she had the same dream, with a business plan already written. Eight years later, in 2019, they ran their first Summer Bash. What began as a 3-day camp has since grown into the 5-day experience it is today.
Jonathan and Ashley now pastor Cove Ministries and direct Summer Bash together — still chasing the same calling they stumbled into on day one.
"Year after year we get to watch God move in the lives of these students. It's hard to believe that in just 5 short days, lives are eternally changed — yet it happens without fail. We're passionate about giving youth a fast track into the gospel: a real relationship with Christ they can walk out in their everyday lives." — Jonathan & Ashley
